Excellent Japanese cuisine to be tasted in a restaurant in New York.
Japanese cuisine is not just about sushi! Okonomi makes you discover a real Japanese meal, called Ichiju Sansai, with its menu served every day until 3pm. You can enjoy a smoked or grilled fish, a poached egg with soy sauce, marinated vegetables, a bowl of rice and a miso soup. The portions are small (like the room, tiny!) and come in many small plates but, Japanese cuisine obliges, we finish the meal both full and light. The remains of fish are used to concoct the broth of ramen served in the evening.
