MISS FAVELA
Fresh caipirinhas and tasty food in a Brazilian restaurant in New York.
A great Brazilian restaurant, opened in the summer of 2008 by a Brazilian and a Frenchwoman who created the Félix de Manhattan. There are typical Brazilian dishes (picanha, moqueca de peixe, feijoada) and fresh caïpirinhas. Warm-coloured walls, false zinc roof, a very sharp selection of Brazilian music from the 1970s and 1980s.... As soon as you push the door, the carioca charm operates, with a Brooklyn touch of course! A good address that quickly built up a clientele of regulars, from the neighbourhood and elsewhere. Payment in cash only.
