JULIANA’S
Wood-fired pizza baked in an Italian restaurant under the Brooklyn Bridge, voted best pizza in New York.
This Italian restaurant, located under Brooklyn Bridge, is the latest in a Scorsese film: side by side tables and red checkered tablecloths are said to host "the best pizza in the city". Zagat, the famous American culinary guide, voted it the best pizzeria in NYC for 6 years in a row. They are cooked over a wood fire, that's the secret of their simplicity. The Brooklynites call the establishment "Pasty", its original name (1933). Easy to find, it is the only pizzeria on the corner with a huge tail that stands out in the street.
