BAR TABAC
Tasty food to be enjoyed in a French restaurant offering jazz concerts in Manhattan.
This French bistro is very pleasant and the food is quite good. It is marked by the red sign of the hexagonal tobacco shops. To be tasted: the fried mussels and the excellent bread (rare in New York), the famous crème brûlée. The atmosphere is given by a joyful mix of locals and visitors from Manhattan. There is no doubt that the Forgeois brothers (Georges and Jacques) have succeeded. An ideal stopover before the Smith Street bar crawl, and a well-known landmark for watching the French soccer team's big games!
