Reasonably priced youth hostel in East Williamsburg.
A very nice youth hostel opened by three globe-trotting brothers, five subway stops from Manhattan. The prices are very reasonable, especially since the place is clean, the common rooms - with computers, television and sofas - very pleasant and the design, like a Brooklyn loft, very neat. A new address not to be missed if you have a very small housing budget. The East Williamsburg/Bushwick area, which can be intimidating with its tags and hangars, is absolutely safe.
