I didn't have the opportunity to stay overnight, my friends and I stopped by for drinks and dinner. We were impressed by the amazing staff, the lovely atmosphere, and the beautiful interior design. I would highly recommend it for both dining and accommodations.
Many thanks to Alejandro, Jasmine, Alex C and Maja for excellent customer service!

Horrible! Terrible rooms, and terrible service. Not worth the money. Booked via airbnb, drove all the way from NJ only for them to tell me they couldn’t find my reservation and try to up charge me by hundreds. They are under new management and not organized and don’t know hospitality management whatsoever. Manager “Carlos” could care less and didn’t help in any way even after us showing him the reservation confirmation. The pool wasn’t even open and the bar food was stale and not worth it. Save yourself the hassle and book elsewhere.

As previously mentioned, I find this hotel being referenced as 5 star comical. I stayed here for my sisters wedding.
Upon arriving we were greeted by friendly bellman and the initial interaction at the check in desk was positive, but not 5 star service. We arrived at around 3:25pm, and check in time is listed for 3:00pm so we expected our room to be ready, and it was not because I had requested feather free, which they knew from the comment I made in the online booking. Our room was not ready for another 20 minutes.
Upon arriving to the room, I was shocked by the small size. I travel to NYC often for work, but this is certainly the smallest hotel room I’ve stayed in and is absolutely not worth the price tag. The room was also very dusty and there was dirt in the closet (which is a sad excuse for a closet), so my husband had to use the face towels to wipe down the dust and dirt in the very small closet so our clothes for my sisters wedding did not get dirty. The shower in the bathroom is poorly designed as water leaks out in many locations making the bathroom floor very wet. Furthermore, all of the applicants (handles, faucets, etc) are very poor quality.
Regarding the “closet”, in order to even hang a dinner jacket, we had to remove the safe and put it under the bed. And my dresses for my sisters wedding could not even fit in the closet without getting wrinkled because they can’t actually hang all the way (and for reference, I am 5’3”, so my dresses are certainly not that long).
I booked a city view king, and there is no skyline view from the room. The view is of an office building in the next block, and to see the city you have to go out onto the tiny balcony.
When is comes to sleeping, good luck if you aren’t a very heavy sleeper! There is music until rather early in the morning, I was on floor 7 and could hear it but it wasn’t as bad as some other reviews mention. The worst part is that the walls are seemingly made of cardboard as you can hear every footstep and conversation in the hallways as people are walking to their rooms. The bed feels very cheap, when my husband sits on the edge the whole thing squeaks, and when he lays and shifts his position, it squeaks again. The sheets on the bed are not soft, they are rather hard and scratchy feeling, once again, certainly not a 5 star experience in the room.
In summary, the hotel is nicely decorated and well located, but I would try a neighboring hotel rather than staying here. When I compare to other 5 star hotels I have stayed at (Ritz, Four Seasons, St Regis brands), I find it almost insulting that the Arlo Williamsburg thinks they are on par. This is a 3 star at best.
Update 4/5/24 in response to the Arlo response: I am still staying here, as is my family and my sister (whose wedding were here for), and many of her guests, and they all had similarly bad experiences. So if you want to make it right, as you stated, do something about it now while we are here.

Engineering Victor went out of his way to help me out with an issue with the TV. Excellent customer-centric service and literally made my day!

Great hotel. Booked breakfast which was really good! (There are many breakfast spots around the area though). Location is perfect, with two subway stations close.

To call this a 5-star hotel is truly laughable.
I was nervous when I booked that this would be a hotel that a brand (Arlo Hotels) bought and slapped a band-aid on, and sadly, I was right.
The rooms are scary-tiny, dirty, toilet seemed like it might fall off its hinges, BED FEELS LIKE SLEEPING ON JUST A BOX SPRING, sheets scratchy.
Asked for a pack and play to be in a room upon arrival- it wasn't.
$29/night destination fee:
-Supposed to get two waters upon check in- we didn't.
-Supposed to get 10% off at the bar/restaurant- we didn't.
Now that that is all out of the way, comes the worst part.
We paid $1700 for 3 nights and din't get a WINK of sleep. Why, you might ask? Because there's a dance club directly below the hotel that is open until *literally* 4:30am and they blare music so loud our hotel room was shaking.
We stayed at the William Vale last year, and debated going there again since we had a perfect expereince there, but wanted to try the Arlo out. Unfortunately, our expectation of it being simply lipstick on a pig was met- would never return here.

We booked here for our wedding/guests and had a very good experience. We ran into a bit of an issue with one of our rooms the day before the wedding, and Steven C helped us to resolve it seamlessly. He was so attentive and helpful, and we felt like he really cared to make things right for us. Steven C is an asset to Arlo Williamsburg!

Don’t hesitate in booking your next event with the Arlo Ballroom – you will not be disappointed! We had a 15-person crew shoot a music video in the Arlo Ballroom on a Sunday and we were very happy with the beautiful space itself and the entire rental experience. From my first initial inquiry, the Arlo Rental Team was incredibly helpful and attentive with our ever-changing needs and requests. Victoria, Ivana and Bella are absolute rock stars and were so accommodating and patient throughout the process. Victoria kindly walked through the space with us beforehand and we created a checklist of needs and a floorplan so we were ready to rock and roll the day of the shoot.
Lucas was our go-to rep day-of the shoot and I would have been so lost without him. He was quick to troubleshoot and respond to any issues that came up throughout the day. Cannot thank him enough for all of his help that day. He truly went above and beyond to make sure everything ran smoothly for us.
Thank you so much, Arlo Team for taking care of us!

This hotel was a perfect location for a 6 night getaway to visit our son and celebrate my wife’s birthday. Just a few blocks from the L train which takes you straight to Manhattan staying at the Wythe gives you easy access to the city and a great property and neighborhood that relax in.
Our room at the Wythe was a “Brooklyn View” and I t was warm and comfy when it was freezing outside. Well appointed and stocked the room had above average soundproofing which made it a great place for me to chill as I needed some down time to help me recover from a long illness.
Both the bar and restaurant were great and staff were excellent, always ready to make your stay memorable. It made for a fun, nice homey vibe that made for a memorable trip.
Of course it’s easy to get top marks when everything goes right, in our case there was a hiccup related to some maintenance (repair happens) and this time a where the manager Grace stepped up and stopped the work and did everything possible to make things right. After 40 years in business I can tell you it’s how organizations handle hiccups that shows true professionalism and Grace is a true Pro

I shot a wedding at this hotel a few weeks ago, and it was just a top notch experience. The front door valet felt like an instant close friend, the spaces are just sexy to hang out in, and the service top notch all around. Victoria is the bomb and lead us through the whole day with all the expertise of a pro. Location: incredible. City Views: outstanding. The Water Tower Bar is one of the coolest spaces I've seen in the entire city. 10/10 would recommend.

My husband and I had the worst experience at this hotel and will not be going back.
The rooms were cramped and were not clean. There we a visible film of dust on the tables (picture attached). We also were not pleased with the room service as it was nearly impossible and took 2 days to get robes to our room.
Not the service I would expect from a luxury hotel. I wrote them an email while I was there and not much was done about it. Horrible experience overall!

You get what you pay for I guess. Spent the trip rationing water as they don't come by and restock or clean the rooms each day and if you go to the lobby and ask for water it takes hours before they send 1 single can to the room

Best hotel stay I have had in New York. The rooms are humongous and I could’ve brought my whole family of 5! The decor is so stylish and modern, but creative. The location is unbeatable for Williamsburg. My favorite part was actually the restaurant, where I ended up dining 3 times. The food was amazing and the atmosphere was perfection. I will stay here again any chance I get.

hospitality experience ever The Room We're not clean falls advertising. Way over price. And the hallways always smell like marijuana. I thought I was in the hood. Had to leave after the first night.

After ordering drinks downstairs, we waited 45 minutes, only to receive 3 of 4 drinks, after having to give the manager our order. We then were still charged for 4 drinks. The morning breakfast bar staff was rude, refusing to get my sick parents cups of hot water because they "weren't open yet." The bar officially opened 12 minutes later, and the waitstaff was already prepping for the day, but couldn't accommodate 2 cups of hot water just a few minutes early??
Booking weddings here is kind of a nightmare because while the sales staff was patient and made a lot of booking changes for us, the sales staff has nothing to do with day to day operations at the hotel, so my guests couldn't just call the front desk and ask to make booking changes. You, as the bride, have to basically do all the coordination yourself for your whole block. When we arrived it seemed like the front desk had no idea we were told we were allowed to store decorations there. It's just clear no inter-hotel departments speak to each other.
Otherwise, they were nice and brought up a lot of things we requested to the rooms when requested. Just would've been nice to have value and service be a given for as expensive as this hotel is.
