Marine zoo with an aquarium open to the public with many different marine species
Severely damaged by Hurricane Sandy, the aquarium had to undergo extensive renovation work over several years. Many fish died as a result of the power cut, which stopped ventilation and heating in some basins. It wasn't until 2016 that the entire aquarium was open to the public. This marine zoo boasts many different species: sea lions, jellyfish, walruses, numerous sharks and fish of all kinds from all over the world. A must-see if you're in the area.
