FLUSHING AVE
New playground in New York, with artworks and some graffiti, ideal for those who prefer to paint the walls
Five Pointz, the historic graffiti spot in Queens now destroyed, Flushing Ave has become New York's playground for those who prefer painting walls to canvas. To admire the artwork, get off at the Jefferson stop on the L line, then walk along Wyckoff Ave towards Flushing. You'll find some graffiti on the right, at Saint Nicholas Ave, then up towards Troutman Ave. There's no graffiti on the sly here - it's all managed by The Bushwick Collective artists' association.
