DITMAS PARK
Brooklyn's historic district offering walks to discover several blocks, 172 neo-colonial Victorian style houses
A historic and yet little-known district of New Yorkers, Ditmas Park includes 172 houses built between 1902 and 1914 on several blocks. The particularity of the buildings: the Victorian neo-colonial style that is found nowhere else. To discover these Victorian houses, stroll along Ditmas Ave, Dorchester Road and all the streets perpendicular to these two axes. These imposing orange, blue and yellow houses are reminiscent of the architectural style found in San Francisco. A relaxing walk.
