It smells good France in this store where good pastries are sold. After biting into the melting coffee éclair or the crispy apple turnover, you'll have no doubt: there's a Frenchman around! This man is Jean-Claude Perennou, a native of Brittany who worked as a pastry chef at the prestigious Waldorf Astoria. Operas, mille-feuilles, palm trees, strawberry tarts, everything is there. The pastries and breads, including sandwiches, are also excellent. Go there with your eyes closed.
