Private residence with spectacular views and a huge garden with an area landscaped and maintained like a royal palace.
Originally a private residence with a spectacular view of the Hudson River, it was later the home of a British ambassador, and later belonged to Mark Twain and Theodore Roosevelt. In a very flowery neighborhood, Wave Hill looks nothing like the Bronx. With a huge surrounding garden, used by New York City as a public garden, this mansion is a jewel carved out of rock. The entire area is beautifully landscaped and maintained like a royal palace. Benches line the sides for your enjoyment.
