A neighborhood on the northeast side of Staten Island with a magnificent view of the Statue of Liberty at sunset.
This district located northeast of Staten Island is the most vibrant on the island with its art galleries, cafés, bars, and restaurants. Its proximity to the Staten Island Ferry, which is within walking distance, makes it easily accessible from Manhattan. A large community in Sri Lanka (one of the largest outside the country) has settled there and is sometimes referred to as "Little Sri Lanka". Take a detour to Silver Lake Park, which includes a golf course. The view of the Statue of Liberty at sunset is magnificent.
