LE BARON
The Baron is a real institution. Built in 1909, its beautiful stone facade orne the street with its name. For several decades it was the best hotel in the city, and the only pied-à-terre newly landed celebrities from the East Express. From Lawrence of Arabia to Agatha Christie, many people honoured his guestbook. As for General De Gaulle, he stayed there in August 1941. This hotel is perfect for lovers of old objects, furniture… Spending a night in this hotel is a bit like if you change time. But beware for people with disabilities, there is no lift! Some employees speak French.
