It's a heavenly place with a name that doesn't seem very appealing. La Cañada del Infierno means "the pass of hell". But why this name? Probably because the trail is very, very steep, with a very steep descent! When you reach the end of the path, you won't be rewarded by a waterfall, but by the shallow El Bayate river, with its round pebbled bottom and cool, clear waters. Good shoes and plenty of water recommended. Allow 5 hours one way (return by vehicle).
