The surrounding funds count about fifty sites among the most beautiful of the Caribbean. Here are some of the most emblematic: Paraíso perdido, Salón de María, Ancla del pirata, Las Tetas de María, Yemaya or El Almirante! Here, it is possible to descend to 40 meters with water that oscillates between 24°C and 30°C depending on the season. The drop-off even goes down to 2,000 meters... Exceptional black coral reserve, gorgonians galore, sponges, caves, manta rays, sharks, barracudas, schools of tuna, tropical fish of all kinds, in short, the totality! Good to know, the staff is usually strict about certifications (SSI and CMAS) and will ask you for your diving level certificate. But if you forgot it and insist, the instructors will test your level by making you leave the beach for a small dive nearby. If the test is successful, you will be able to do the dive corresponding to your level. For the first dives, we noticed on the spot that the first dives were done with one instructor for three people, whereas normally, each person must have his own instructor during a first dive... So it is a bit risky if you panic during the first dive, because the instructor will have a hard time to manage the situation with two other beginners on his hands, so it is up to you to see if the center still works the same way, and if so, if you want to take the risk or not. Otherwise, snorkeling is always an option.
