Four daily departures to Havana at 8am, 1pm, 4pm, 6pm. Stop in Matanzas. Count 10 CUC for a one-way ticket. Duration 3 hours. Daily service to Santiago de Cuba at 9pm. Stops in Cárdenas, Colón, Santa Clara, Sancti Spíritus, Ciego de Avila, Camagüey, Las Tunas, Holguín, and Bayamo. Count 49 CUC for a one-way ticket. Duration: 15 hours. Recently, there has been a direct bus line between Varadero and Trinidad: Departure at 7am and 2.40pm from Varadero (duration: 6.30am) at 20 CUC one way. It is also possible to go to Viñales from Varadero with a departure at 8am and an arrival at 3.15pm for 22 CUC but there is no Viñales/Varadero rotation.

Comme dans tout le pays, le nombre de rotations de bus a fortement baissé. Exemple : un seul départ quotidien de Varadero pour La Havane. Idem pour La Havane à Varadero. Le plan B est le taxi collectivo. Nombreux, 10 à 20 % plus cher que le bus. Il vous dépose à votre gré. Pour mon retour à La Havane, le taxi collectivo m'a déposé à l'aéroport au lieu du centre ville pour le bus. J'ai économisé les 25 euros de taxi ville pour aller du centre de La Havane à l'aéroport.
