For over 20 years, owner Silverio has focused on offbeat, eclectic programming in all fields (music, theater, poetry), making the Mejunje the country's most daring cultural structure with its small, inexpensive open-air stage. Each evening has its own style (jazz, rock, trova, club night...). The setting, decadent as can be, is well worth the detour: an old hotel that has fallen into ruin, a vast paved interior square flanked by immense trees (plays are performed here), several bars, a shop... Santa Clara's alternative meeting place!
