Opened since October 10, 1886, it would be, according to the legend, the oldest bar in the country still in operation! All in wood, with a beautiful chandelier on the ceiling, the café El Louvre has really a lot of charm and it is very pleasant to make a coffee break there before, during and/or after the visit of the downtown of Remedios. You can enjoy very good coffees, fresh sodas and simple but very well made sandwiches. An ideal observation point to take the pulse of the city, at any time of the day. We like it.

Sur la place centrale de la pétite et trés agréable ville de Remedios, le café le plus ancien du pays. Accueil trés gentil, un apéro sur la terrasse en paix, regardant la vie et, en décembre, les abitants de la ville que preparent la fête du 24 décembre.

Sur la place du village,un coin encore authentique à Cuba et possibilité de payer en monnaie nationale et d'admirer la vie paisible de ce coin méconnu de Cuba...Un petit verre de rhum à la main sur la terrasse et la douceur de vivre...
