It is one of the great health appointments of the city. Santa Barbara (which in the Yoruba culture corresponds to Chango), the most popular of the orishas who governs fire, festivities and all the pleasures of life, is celebrated. There are many processions in the downtown area. If you are in Cuba at the end of the year, we recommend that you go to Trinidad to attend these sacred festivities. Whether or not you believe in the cult of santería, the unifying power of this great celebration is admirable.
