Built in 1744, the old palace belonged to the Valle Iznaga family, a wealthy and influential family that made its fortune in the sugar industry. The same family that built the famous Iznaga Tower in the Valley of the Ingenios. In addition to the bedrooms, dining room, music room and Art Nouveau lounge, you can also admire the beautiful tableware from the 18th and 19th centuries. Recovered by the State in 1967, this museum is a fantastic testimony to the impact of sugar culture on Cuban society in the 18th and 19th centuries.
