CENTRE INTERNATIONAL DE PÊCHE ET DE CHASSE
A few rooms to rent, however, not so much for the place, but because the centre is located in the middle of one of the city's busiest discos! Set in a beautiful colonial house, the centre proposes, within a few kilometres, different hunting and fishing reserves: Isla de Turiguanó and Loma de Cunagua, where international tournaments are organised, the islands of Cayo Coco, Parédon Grande and Aguachales de Falla, where migratory birds abound. Specialized guides, proper transport, material means for fishing and hunting, freezing and preparation of hunted parts… Note that there is a crocodile reserve at the level of the Loma de Cunagua. Hunting period: from August to March. Price of hunting permit 25 CUC for year and 50 CUC for doves. Rental of rifles: 10 CUC for the day. Cartridges: the 25 for 10 CUC. Bird hunting, open at different periods: torcaza (one pigeon species) from July 15 to September 15, the migratory duck from October 15 to March 15, the quail from November to March, and the dove from September to March.
