The Nico López Museum recalls the storming of the former Rural Guard barracks by revolutionaries on July 26, 1953. That same day, Fidel Castro and his men attacked the Moncada barracks in Santiago de Cuba. Taking refuge in Guatemala, Nico López met a young Argentinean, Ernesto Guevarra, whom he nicknamed Che - a systematic interjection used by the young doctor - and introduced him to Fidel Castro in Mexico. A very instructive visit that will allow to go back to the roots of the revolution.
