ST. PAULI

Sant Pauli is perhaps one of the best places to eat in downtown Santiago de Cuba. Located at the very top of the pedestrian and commercial Enramada street, the restaurant's unique, spacious dining room is accessed via a graffiti-covered corridor inlaid with sculpted elements reminiscent of the famous Hamburg district. There's a vast choice of dishes, ranging from traditional Cuban cuisine to Mediterranean dishes that are quite successful. Smiling service and higher prices than elsewhere, but not without reason.
