Even if the Casa del Estudiante is not what it used to be, it remains a major gathering point for the youth of Santiago de Cuba on Saturday nights. However, the place is probably more interesting to visit on Sunday if you want to extend your evening of the day before in a festive and popular atmosphere! The authentic rumberos of Santiago set the pace, and the rum flows freely. Don't come too well dressed, after a few fiery salsa steps, you'll soon be swimming! Nice atmosphere, authentic.
