The house of Governor Diego Velazquez (1465-1524), of Moorish influence, is the oldest stately home in the city, built between 1516 and 1530. The first floor housed the trading house and the gold and silver foundries. The second floor housed the apartments. Inaugurated on November 30, 1970, the Museum of the Cuban Historical Environment traces the stages of Cuban culture through its furniture, paintings and decorative objects.

Pas très grand, mais visite intéressante pour découvrir un intérieur d'une belle maison et des objets traditionnels
