A cultural institute dedicated to the Caribbean! Here, you'll find exhibits relating to African and Afro-Cuban culture in a beautiful setting. Every year, from July 3 to 9, this institute organizes the Caribbean Festival, which coincides with the anniversary of the city's foundation and celebrates the cultural links between Cuba and the Caribbean. Each year, a different country is featured (Puerto Rico in 2018, Uruguay in 2019). In 2022, after two digital editions (covid), the festival resumed: 2024 was dedicated to the Brazilian state of Bahia!
