The Corner (that is the meaning of kona in Swahili, Luganda and Hindi) is a shop that was created in the middle of the 2000s by a dashing Ugandan craftswoman of Indian origin. The artistic creations on display, which are Afro-Indian, reflect this cultural mix. Coloured clothes and bags, colourful fabrics, traditional baskets or cow horn objects are now made in collaboration with local workers, especially local seamstresses who have their workshop in the back shop.
