Founded in Kampala by Jonathan and Pamela Wright, Wild Places is a collection of properties. It offers award-winning lodges and luxury safari camps to enjoy the wonders of Uganda. These accommodations are spread across stretches of unspoilt, secret wilderness. Intimate, private and unique, the lodges guarantee gentle, discreet service. During your stay, you'll enjoy breathtaking scenery everywhere you look. You'll see tangled jungle, glacier-capped mountains, grassy plains, roaring rapids, huge sparkling lakes and terraced hills. You'll hike in search of gorillas and chimpanzees. Sail through swamps or walk close to zebras and giraffes. For example, you can choose Clouds Mountain Gorilla Lodge, an intimate, secluded lodge perched high above the clouds. It is located in the highlands of the south-west of the country and offers a variety of cottages and chalets to choose from.
