For more than two decades, Joe Nixon Ndyanabangi has been roaming Central and East Africa (DRC, Kenya, South Sudan, Tanzania, Rwanda, Burundi and, of course, Uganda) to unearth the best of tribal art. With the help of a network of collaborators, this fine connoisseur has collected a collection of works (statues, masks, shields, pottery, headrests...) of great quality. You can see them (and more if you like) by visiting the Gallery Antique, located some 12 km north of downtown. Pieces can be viewed and purchased online.
