The Europcar group has a counter at Entebbe International Airport (open 24 hours a day) and several congeners in Kampala. Managed by the Ugandan company Intercar, the fleet (4x4, vans, sedans) is well maintained. Each vehicle is duly inspected before any rental. You can, of course, take control of the car yourself or hand over the wheel to an experienced driver (i.e. capable of dealing with potholes, Kampala's magmatic road traffic, slippery tracks and tutti quanti...).
