GATELY INN ENTEBBE

All hotels and guesthouses have their own restaurant, but the one at the Gately Inn really deserves to be mentioned here for its good food (even if the regulars complain about a certain lack of quality lately...). On the menu are, at midday, salads and sandwiches and, in the evening, the famous triptych appetizer-dish-dessert (where the tilapia from Lake Victoria seems to have a good place, especially on the Thai menu). The setting, very pleasant, is in itself worth the detour, if only to sip a fresh fruit juice or coffee.
