1 km from Rwonyo Rest Camp, the pleasant campsite 2 (or main campsite), also run by the Uganda Wildlife Authority, is located on the very shores of Lake Mburo, close to hippos and a myriad of birds. The area is well maintained and the sanitary facilities (toilets and showers) are fairly clean. Restaurant, very convenient, in situ. Camp 3, equipped with toilets, is also located on the eastern bank of the lake, but a few kilometres further south. There is no restaurant here, so you will have to bring your own food and the appropriate equipment.
