Set amidst eucalyptus trees, on a mameluled peninsula where agriculture predominates, the Edirisa ("window" in Chiga) camp will delight backpackers. The dormitories, cottages and family houses are simple but very clean and equipped with mosquito nets. Open-air showers and wooden huts serving as WCs are never far away. Meals are of excellent quality. There's also free wi-fi, free use of the resort's canoes and an improbable swimming pool. Modest prices and a warm welcome!

Prachtige omgeving. Romantische indeling. Zeer vriendelijke werknemers. Goedkoop. Lekker eten. Kan niet beter!

Great sustainable accommodation. The 2 Managers of the place are very lovely and helpful guys, they told us about the history of the lake, the town and the accommodation. Awesome place right on the lake, peaceful ambiente and awesome views. We stayed in a room and the room was clean and the bed was comfy. The food they serve was good too.

Camped here for 3 nights. It was a Beautiful experience in a peaceful location overlooking the lake. We swam several times daily, utilised the free canoe, ate a delicious vegetarian meal for dinner (we mostly cooked), adventured to a nearby island to experience local life through the lodge and had great interactions with the staff. Highly recommend this place to campers or others looking for a peaceful, sustainable stay around Lake Bunyonyi
