The Arcadia is the only establishment on a hilltop, offering fabulous views of the lake and its islands, as well as the surrounding landscape. The twenty-five cottages are as cosy as you could wish for. Kai - the lively Kenyan manager - and his team are always on hand to organize activities in the area (quad biking, birdwatching, lake cruises...). The restaurant, totally refurbished a few years ago, offers tasty food and one of the finest views in the region. A magnificent spot in one of the most beautiful parts of Kigezi!

Spending my weekend at Arcadia Cottages was the best decision ever! Even though my stay was work related, I enjoyed it like a holiday! The rooms are spacious and the view is insane! The food and drinks are awesome and the staff are super friendly yet professional. One bad thing about it was that it ended too soon. I wish I had more time! And that definitely makes me want to go back! I highly recommend for people who like calm, cozy and peaceful environments as well as those who love beautiful views! The boat ride will be a cherry on top, I’d write pages! But it’s 10/10 for me!

My first visit was breath taking... All my friends thought I was standing by a wall paper...It took alot of convincing for them to believe I was in a real place... Because it's such a great and perfect work of art by nature...well located and so warm. The staff are an amazing team. Thank you Acardia
