Wood and plant fibers are the main materials used in this resort's charming cottages, nestled in greenery. The restaurant, under its straw hut, is spacious. If you're lucky, you'll catch a glimpse of the only monkey (a blue monkey known as the "island president") living on this island haven six hundred meters long and two hundred and fifty meters wide, where a few animals have been introduced (crescent cob, impala, zebra...) and can be observed on a nature walk (free for resort guests).

Località remota, ma molto bella. Il silenzio e la tranquillità sono terapeutiche.

The view is amazing but the rooms, food, and the service could be improved.

Located on Kyahugye island on lake Bunyonyi with beautiful and amazing scenery. Wild life like the Zebras, water bucks , antelopes , donkeys and different bird species. There’s a boat to ease transportation to the island and got a good chef for different assorted dishes. The electricity is on and off so come with extra power banks to have your gadgets charged. Rooms are well catered for but they are too far from the main reception area so it’s abit scary. But its an ideal place to spend ur holiday ????

This was a surprising highlight of our brief tour through Uganda! This eco resort was something that was part of the package included in the Bwindi Forest tour we booked through Home to Africa tours and we probably would not have found this place on our own.
The island had absolutely stunning views and the service was very good. The rooms were comfortable (though we did unfortunately get switched to a different room because of an issue with a door lock) and everyone was very kind. It was an extra bonus that there were so many interesting animals on the island (impala, a donkey, a zebra, many birds, etc.) I also enjoyed a brief canoe outing on my own for a bit as a nice solo relaxation activity but I think I would probably suggest charging a bit less for it (I paid $20 but I think it should probably be something more like $15 to go solo).
Overall very lovely place and a great stop on our Uganda tour!
