A combination of brick and wood, the lodge 's superior and deluxe rooms are cosy and well equipped (the more comfortable ones even have their own fireplace). They also offer superb views of the Virunga and Bwindi Forest. The standard rooms, located in an orange building near the trail, are basic but fully equipped. The staff at Ruhija Gorilla Lodge (or Ruhija Gorilla Safari Lodge) organise some activities in the surrounding area. Good welcome. Poor value for money, especially for the standard rooms.
