Located less than a thousand metres from the starting point of the muddy trails and slippery bays that cut through the jungle, Gorilla Safari Lodge is a charming establishment. Here you will find a pleasantly appointed lounge-restaurantand no less attractive chalets. The latter are duly equipped (wooden balcony, mosquito nets, safe, shower room and even, for some of them, a fireplace...) and, in most cases, colourful. The lodge offers the possibility to criss-cross the surroundings on foot or by bike. Good reception.

We spent 2 nights here in late July and it was a great experience. The staff were incredibly hospitable and so nice and the food was incredible!!!!!! The room was very comfy and spacious and everything was clean and well kept.

Die Lodge ist nur wenige hundert Meter neben dem Startpunkt des Gorilla-Trackings gelegen. Abgesehen von der perfekten Lage, ist der Empfang in der Lodge extrem freundlich. Es wird alles unternommen um den Aufenthalt so angenehm wie möglich zu machen. Wer sich wundert, warum es keine Klimaanlage, aber dafür offene Kamine gibt: Ja, es wird recht frisch am Abend. Das Essen war vorzüglich und vor allem bei Service gebühren eigentlich 6 Sterne.

The hotel and the service is great. The staff is amazing, nonetheless, seems like the owner does not know about the failures of the place. We had issues with the lack of hot water and power in our room.

Super schön gelegene Lodge, mit ausgezeichnetem Service, leckerem Essen und meinem Highlight, eine Wärmflasche abends im Bett! Das war ein Segen, in der doch etwas kühleren Region ????
