Don't let the word lodge fool you. Indeed, the equipped rooms are basic and lack privacy. Nevertheless, since our last visit, significant progress has been made: wifi is now available (we can hear the relief of some people...) and electricity seems to work 24 hours a day (power cuts are to be expected...). Opened more than twenty years ago, the Bwindi View Lodge has a restaurant and a bistro allowing you to socialize with the locals. A warm welcome awaits you.

The cabins are very comfortable, with toilet and mosquito net and they are very clean. The meals are plentiful and homemade and they are advertised the day before. The staff is very friendly and helpful. Totally recommended.
