Founded in the early 1990s by a local teacher, this agency organizes excursions focused on the surroundings, more or less close to Fort Portal: mountain bike tours, Tea Experience Tour (visit of plantations and a factory), bird watching in the heart of the city, visit of the Kihingami swamps, expeditions around the crater lakes, a day in the village of Rubona (visit of an apiary, a farm where "banana wine" is made, women's groups weaving colourful baskets)....), etc.

Kabarole as a district and a tourism center has lots of Job opportunities
However such job opportunities come with specific requirements
Hence if all requirements needed u possess them then count yourself lucky among the people who will get employed
Thank you

Myself and 5 friends from Ireland visited Fort Portal while in Uganda and could not recommend Kabarole tours more! Richard was so easy to communicate with on WhatsApp from the beginning. When our bus was delayed arriving into Fort Portal from Kampala on a Friday night, he picked us up at the bus station and drove us to our hostel - we did not expect this at all but he was so welcoming. The next morning, we were picked up from our hostel and brought to the Tour Office to pay and also got a packed lunch and water. We also met with our guide Sam, who accompanied us on our 18km hike around the crater lakes in Fort Portal. It was such a beautiful hike and Sam was so helpful, fun, and knew all about the area. It was one of our best days in Uganda and we would all really recommend a trip to Fort Portal and a tour with Kabarole Tours!
