Just 50 metres from the big market, the Gardens is certainly one of the best places in town to eat or drink. In this old colonial-style building, they serve good African cuisine(muchomo, katuzi...), sandwiches but also tex-mex dishes, pizzas and burgers. Waiting time is (usually) around fifteen minutes maximum! The small terrace is a haven of freshness in the heart of the city. The place is well worth a cold beer or hot tea in the afternoon.
