Many travelers choose to travel to Semuliki NP by day from Fort Portal or, to a very small extent, Bundibugyo (which has a few small guesthouses). Staying at the edge of the forest can still be useful for anyone wishing to engage in a morning activity (especially birdwatching). This can be done by sleeping in the UWA-run camp between Ntandi and Sempaya. The campsite is cool and the five bandas are clean and equipped (but without hot water...). Collective kitchen and sanitary facilities for the campers.
