Of Rwandan origin, Charles Lubega is a renowned cook who has served in Kigali at the service of French diplomats before settling in the Bigodi region. After having created the nearby Safari Hotel, it opened this family and community campsite for travellers who prefer authentic contacts with the local population to comfort. The location is limited to one end of garden and 3 rooms in the family house. Without electricity or running water, Charles will prepare his specialities, namely the pineapple pie and red wine sauce. Full meals at 8 000 Ush (4 000 Ush if vegetarian).
