Those who are not necessarily interested in chimpanzees can enjoy inexpensive forest walks to discover the different types of habitat. The night walk is also worth mentioning: it's the ideal way to get a glimpse of a phantasmagorical world (bats, galagos, pottos, tree damsons, snakes, etc.) by torchlight - thrills guaranteed! Departure from the UWA offices at 7.30pm (if it's not raining); cost US$90 per person (park entrance included) for a two-hour walk.
