Built in 1923, this colonial hotel is proud to have hosted Humphrey Bogart and Katharine Hepburn during the filming ofAfrican Queen in the 1950s, as well as Ernest Hemingway after his double air crash at Murchison Falls and Butiaba. This hotel's old-fashioned charm transports you to another era. Now renovated, it offers bright, pleasant rooms, a lovely bar named after the American writer, and an elegant à la carte restaurant. Camping is possible in the spacious garden.
