The 7,000-hectare sanctuary, guarded 24 hours a day by rangers, allows tourists to get up close and personal with the white rhinos. Our guides will tell you all about these endangered perissodactyls. Other guided activities (US$ 35 per adult) are offered on site: night walk (duration: 2 to 3 hours), shoebill canoe ride (duration: 3 to 4 hours) and birding/nature walk (duration: 2 to 3 hours). Don't forget to spray yourself with repellent and wear covering clothing! The reserve is on the itinerary of many tour operators.
