This agency is renowned for its "low-cost" safaris: Kidepo (5 days, US$550 per person), Queen Elizabeth (3 days, US$450 per person) and Murchison Falls (3 days, US$480 per person). Buffalo Safari Camps may be just what you're looking for! In addition to these low-cost packages, there are also tours focusing on ornithology (to track down the famous Nile shoebill), primatology (to observe the proverbial mountain gorilla) and felinology (to track down the lion).

Buffalo Safari Camps offered us a budget trip throughout Uganda. Our trip consisted partly of camping and partly of basic accommodation in lodges. We were able to fine tune all our wishes with Tim beforehand.
Our guide during this trip was 'Emma'. What a fantastic man. He is very enthusiastic, loves to tell about life in Uganda and was a true animal magnet for us in the national parks. He knows a lot of people in the field and so he found out a lot of locations with wildlife. He gave our trip an extra dimension.
For a budget trip through Uganda, we can definitely recommend this company.
