Bending but not breaking under the weight of the seven-storey Igar Plaza Hotel, which offers decent rooms at prices ranging from US$115 to US$150, the eponymous establishment's café is an ideal meeting place. Popular with the bazungu, it features wifi, a terrace separated from the street by a degree, friendly staff and refreshing drinks (smoothies, fruit juices, soda...). Its staff also concocts simple dishes (chicken pilaf, goat stew, grilled tilapia, pasta, salads...) of good quality. Pastries for sale.
