This is undoubtedly the most popular place in Mbale for bazungu volunteers! The rooms, some of which are spread out on either side of a central covered area, are not distinguished, apart from the more expensive ones, by their decoration. However, they all have private bathrooms with hot showers and mosquito nets. The best thing about La Casa? The roof terrace, where you can enjoy a drink. Safaris are also organized by Casa Uganda Safaris, which manages this casa as well as two nearby lodges.

The rooftop restaurant has a pleasant atmosphere.
My room was really beautiful (but I think I got lucky and got the nicest room in the hotel).
Parking is not really available, unless you consider parking on the street.
We had 1 towel and a minuscule soap, nothing else available.
Food service is a bit slow, staff is nice.
The room was OK, but the view sucked and the lighting was too low.
Drastic price increase since last year... 40%. I recommend you look somewhere else.
