On the small island of Heybeliada, you will come to take a breath of fresh air, far from the agitation of Istanbul and its 16 million inhabitants. You can go for a ride in a horse-drawn carriage facing the sea, but if you are concerned about the animal's welfare, you should rent a bicycle. In the summer, many Stamboulians and tourists meet on the island for a picnic. It is also possible to rent a barbecue. The butcher's shops and small grocery stores in the center of the island will allow you to equip yourself for a real feast to be enjoyed in the grass!
