The island's main international airport (the other is in Catania) is at Punta Raisi, 30 km west of Palermo and 75 km east of Trapani. There are ATMs, car rental agencies, restaurants, cafés... The airport is connected to the city by Prestia & Comande shuttle buses (every 30 minutes, with several stops, terminating at the central station). By cab or VTC, beware of traffic jams depending on the time of day. Bus connections to Trapani, Agrigento and Porto Empedocle, Sciacca, Menfi and Ribera.
